Is Thozhilly really commission-free?
Yes. Workers pay a flat ₹49 for the first 3 months, then ₹30 every 3 months — inclusive of all taxes. We never take a percentage of any job. Hirers pay workers directly.
How are workers verified?
Every provider completes Aadhaar-based identity verification before their listing goes live. We store only the verified name and last 4 digits — never the Aadhaar number itself. If the listed name differs from the ID, hirers see that flag.
Do I need an account to browse?
No — browsing is open. You sign in with Google only when you want to contact a worker, and workers verify a phone number before listing.
Does payment for jobs go through the app?
Never. You agree on a price in the app for transparency, but you pay the worker directly — cash or UPI, worker's choice.
